Sports Authority is once again a generous sponsor for our 2nd annual event! We look forward to a continued partnership with them for this year’s event!
The Maui Ocean Center is also again donating 40 free admission tickets to the school with the most participants! Maui Waena Intermediate had the most sign ups last year. Will YOUR school have the most this year??
We have added a “Virtual Run” to our 2013 event! What is a “Virtual Run” you ask?? If you know of someone who lives outside of Maui or the State of Hawaii ask them to support your school by signing up for our “Virtual Run”. They can do their own 5K run/walk in their own neighborhood or on their favorite route on the same day as our event. We will send them a Maui 5K t-shirt and if they post their finish time on our Facebook page we will even send them a finisher’s medal with their t-shirt! Get your friends and families involved to support your school!

The Maui 5K has added a t-shirt drawing contest to our 2nd annual event! Schools may each submit up to 3 drawings created by students 5 to 12 years of age. The drawings must be sports related and received by our office before March 20th in order to qualify. The best drawing will be picked by our staff and will be printed on the 2013 participant t-shirts along with their school’s name.
